What Is "Life's Financial Secrets"?
It's a site for zoomers, millennials, and anyone to learn about what they should be doing with their money and similar topics that many don't know about. This website allows people to go from not knowing how to invest to becoming beginner investors. From there they can then continue to become an intermediate investor or do research on their own time and become an expert investor. It also goes over things related to people's financial decisions, money management, and how money can blend with a person's lifestyle.
Why was L.F.S. created?
When I was taking my economics course my senior year of high school, they were teaching us about Certificate of Deposits (CDs). By the way, the last time CDs were a worthwhile investment Ronald Reagan was doing the whole War on Drugs thing. And when I asked my teacher what she thought about REITs and ETFs, she had no clue what I was talking about. I could've been talking Cantonese to her and she would’ve understood more of what I had asked. So I started thinking to myself, “To hell with the NA (North American) education system. I’ll make my own place to learn about economics with blackjack and hookers, which teaches young adults about proper money management and how to properly invest with a sprinkle of lifestyle insight.” But the hookers were too expensive and gambling is illegal in my state, so I’ll just make a website instead.
Who Is the website owner?
You wanna know who I am; right? I guess that's fair since I'm giving you financial advice. My name is Thomas E. Kersh. I'm a Californian, which means I'm used to seeing homeless smackheads running around, My backyard catches on fire three months a year, and I sold my left kidney for a tank of gas yesterday. I’m also Jewish, which means I’m a part of the deep state and you can trust at least 98% of the financial advice I give.
But to get more serious, when I was entering my freshman year of high school, I had become fascinated with the concept of investing money and making money without actually working. So I asked my grandfather, who’s been a stockbroker for 40 years, if I could open a brokerage account. I would annoy the hell out of him every single week about opening an account for me. He finally said yes but with one contingency. I had to learn from him, which I did.
So while finishing high school, I was learning about how to invest from an adept stockbroker and then realized how out of date the NA economics curriculum is. I decided to make a website informing young adults about investing, money management, and lifestyle secrets.
